Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Shafi Sahib (RA) was a great scholar. He wrote many books and did many other religious works. He had a teacher named Hazrat Mian Syed Asghar Hussain Sahib (RA).
He was a very high-ranking elder and a man of God. His famous name was “Hazrat Mian Sahib”. Mufti Muhammad Shafi Sahib (RA) had a deep connection and affection with him. Since he was also a teacher, Mufti Muhammad Shafi Sahib (RA) often visited him, and Hazrat also treated him with great love and affection. Once Mufti Sahib (RA) came to Hazrat Mian Sahib (RA) and sat in his court. When he saw him, he said: Brother! Look, Maulvi Shafi Sahib! Today we will talk to you in Arabic, Mufti Sahib was very surprised that this has never happened before ....... What is the matter today!
So, Hazrat Mufti Sahib asked in fear, Hazrat! What is the reason that we will talk in Arabic today? Hazrat said: No, there is no matter, it was just a thought that came to mind; but Mufti Sahib asked again: Hazrat! There must be something, when he saw that he would not accept this, he finally told the reason and said: Brother Shafi! The thing is that when we both start talking together, a lot of things start happening, useless things start happening here and there, I thought that if we arrange to talk in Arabic, then neither you can speak Arabic fluently nor I can speak it, so when we speak thoughtfully, the language will come under control and there will be no unnecessary useless talk; rather, only necessary things will be said. Allahu Akbar!
Everyone should yalking about useless and useless things is not a good thing, it is harmful to both our world and the hereafter. A person who talks unnecessarily often starts backbiting and gossiping about others while talking, and he does not even realize it. Therefore, if you have to talk, then talk about work; otherwise, keep quiet, that is where our success lies.
