Reward for kindness ( Moral Story )

A rich woman was standing on the road because her car had broken down. She tried to wave at the speeding cars, but no one stopped. Time passed, raindrops started falling, and she began to fear the darkness.

Suddenly, an old car came and stopped. A young man was driving it. The woman looked at the car and the young man carefully and hesitated for a while whether to get in or not. She was afraid that he might not keep an eye on her wealth. But then she gathered courage and got in.

On the way, she asked the young man his name and job. He seemed poor and needy. He told her that his name was Adam and that he was a taxi driver. Hearing this, the woman felt some relief and reproached herself for her wrong assumption. She was also surprised that the young man was polite and did not even look up at her.

When they reached the city, the woman expressed her desire to get off.

The woman inquired that : "How much amount do you have to pay?"

The young man replied: "Nothing!"

The woman said in surprise: "How can this be?"

The young man smiled and replied: "My salary is that you also do good to others."

Saying this, he left and the woman stood there in surprise.

Then she went to a coffee shop and ordered a cup of coffee there. The maid who brought the coffee had a yellow face and her belly looked big, as if she was pregnant. The rich woman asked her: "Why do you look so tired?"

The maid said: "I'm going to be a mother soon."

The woman asked in surprise: "So why aren't you resting?"

The maid said sadly: "I have to work to cover my expenses."

When the maid went to get the bill, the woman gave a large amount of money to pay and left quietly.  When the maid returned, she did not find the woman there, but she found a small slip on which was written: "The left money is a gift for you."

The maid was happy to see this. She turned the slip over and saw another message:

"And what I have put under the table is a gift for your child."

A large sum of money was placed under the table, which was equal to her six months' salary. Seeing this, tears came to her eyes. She quickly reached her husband and shouted happily:

"Adam! Good news, Allah has made our difficulty easy!"

Hearing this, her husband was surprised, because it was the same Adam who had taken this rich woman to her destination for free and advised her to help others.

"Goodness is sure to return. Do good and remember that Allah says: 'Can there be any reward for kindness except kindness?'"
